Welcome to another week of Tuesday's Tips, Techniques and Tutorials. This week is a gift box with viewing window. This lovely little box is something we made at the fundraiser I ran earlier in the month.
Great gift box and you can make it all using the Simply Scored Tool.

Candle Box

Cut 2 sheets of card stock to 8 inches x 5 1/2 inches. Box sides
Cut another sheet of card stock to 5 3/8 inch square - for your lid
2 squares for reinforcing bottom of box, inside square is 3 3/8 inches, outside square 3 1/2 inches.
  1. Score long side of matching card stock pieces at 1 inch.
  2. Turn card stock, with 1 inch score mark at top longways, score one sheet card stock at 3 ½ inches and 7 inches.
  3. With other sheet have 1 inch score mark at bottom and longways. Score at 3 ½ inches and 7 inches. Using bigshot and Window Framelits cut out window panel into one middle panel on one sheet only
  4. Score large square piece at 1 inch mark on all four sides.
  5. Adhere box using Sticky Strip. I will give instructions on how to do this. Be careful with sticky strip as once stuck you can’t reposition. You can also use tom bow glue.
  6. Adhere ribbon using double sided tape.
  7. Adhere window sheet using glue dots or double sided tape.
I hope you like this tutorial. All items used in this tutorial are from Stampin' Up! and can be ordered through me and delivered to your door anywhere in Australia.
